Great news to start the Spring: Chef Mari is the guest chef at Mission Street Food this Thursday!. MSF is a twice-weekly foodie evening held at Lang Shun restaurant on Mission Street that features chefs from many popular SF restaurants and lounges. Mari will be cooking Pork Belly, Yaki Onigiri, Okonomiyaki, and Mizuna Salad, and Gil has paired Sake for the menu. It will be open from 6:00pm to midnight.

Tengumai Yamahai-jikomi, Junmai (Bold, dark, ligering, acidic, deep - goes well with steak, heavy and fatty foods) $10
Take-no Tsuyu, Junmai (Smooth, silky, great finish, refreshing - goes well with fatty sashimi, fatty fish, stir fry, pork chops) $8
Kikusui, Junmai Ginjo (Very light, pure, refreshing - goes well with sashimi (white fish), salads, and lighter foods) $8
